Since the foundation of the “Berliner Musterkartenfabrik” by Christian Hansen-Schmidt in 1905, we have been the manufacturer of sample cards and sample collections for industry and trade. We can guarantee the high quality of our products through many years of experience and the complete production in Germany.

It all started with the production of textile sample cards, which was extended in 1926 by the production of colour cards. Since 1927 we have been cooperating with the German Institute for Quality Assurance and Labelling (Deutsches Institut für Gütesicherung und Kennzeichnung e.V.) in the definition of RAL colours.

In addition to the production of sample cards, we have made a name for ourselves as a demanding specialist publisher for colour science and colour theory as well as social science topics.
